Paulinho Caruso

Paulinho Caruso was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1983. Son of a cartoonist, he grew up surrounded by comic books, graphic novels and animations. A frustrated musician, he started making music videos for friends who had bands and quickly migrated to advertising.

He is an award-winning director who navigates through advertising, film, music videos and television. In advertising, he has in his repertoire projects for brands such as Volkswagen, Netflix, Google, Ambev, P&G, Itaú, Santander and many others. In fiction, among the most recent projects he has directed are the feature film “Neurotic Quest for Serenity”  and episodes for the HBO series “The Forgotten Valley” and Netflix’s “Brotherhood”.
